I awoke surrounded by darkness. I had no idea where I was or how I had gotten there. All I knew was the pain. A strong burning pain that I felt throughout my entire body. I attempted to scream from this pain, but when I opened my mouth I found that I could barely breath let alone scream. I raised my arms and to my surprise found that I could touch the ceiling. It was solid and lined with some kind of silky fabric. Immediately I was struck with panic as I realised where I was. "Oh God!" I thought. "I'm in a coffin! I've been burried alive!" In a panicked frenzy I began furriously pounding on the ceiling. Never once did it occur to me that this might have been a futile effort. My only thought was that I had to get out of there. I continued pounding I felt the ceiling give slightly and heard the sound of wood cracking. A feeling of euphoria entered me almost drowning out the entence pain. Was I going to make it? Was I going to live? I pushed the ceiling with all my might. I heard more cracking until finaly the ceiling gave way. My struggles were not to end however as dirt began to pour into the coffin. Surely, I thought this would be the end of me. Oh how cruel God must be. To give me such hope for escape only to diminish it almost instantaneously. The coffin was no longer a problem, but now I was going to suffocate under a pile of dirt. In desperation I attempted to move my arms and to my grateful surprise I was able to push through the dirt. I began to dig, my only thoughts being of survival as I felt myself moving through what must've been sevral hundred pounds of earth. I continued to dig until I felt a rush of cold air hit my hand as it tore out of the ground. "Freedom!" I thought as I started pulling myself up. I soon felt the air on my face as the darkness around me fadded giving way to the starry night sky. I kept going until I mannaged to pull my entire body out of the grave, I then collapsed from the exhaustion the effort had caused me.

There I layed, covered in dirt and breathing furiously trying desprately to fill my lungs with oxygen. I was suddenly reminded of the pain as I now felt it in full force. This time however I had the ablity to scream, and boy did I. A loud sound that I wasn't even sure a human could make escaped my mouth and rang out through the entire cemetary. The pain did not cease, and I prepared to scream agian when something caught my ear."What the fuck is going on here?!" A loud deep voice called. I turned my head to see the light from a flashlight in the distance. "I swear to God if you damn kids are out here fuckin with cats agian, I am going to beat your asses raw!"My new thoughts where now of gratitude to the god I once thought cruel. There was someone else out here, a grounds keeper most likely. I attempted to call out to him, but the only sound that came out of my mouth was that horrid inhuman scream. Thankfully though this seemed to get his attention as I soon saw the beam of light heading in my direction. This was it. I was nearly home free.

"Ha, finaly got ya this time you little..." He stoped in mid-sentence as his light washed over me. "Oh my god! Miss are you alright?!" I attempted to form a sentence, but the pain only allowed me to say two words. "B-burried a-a-alive." "Oh my god!" He said with horror in his voice. "Don't worry miss. I got a phone in my shed. I'll take you there and we can call the hospital. Can you stand up?" I attempted to rise to my feet but the pain would not allow it and I fell back down almost instantly. "Oh jesus. D-dont worry ma'am, I'm not gonna leave you alone out here." I could see him bend down and I felt his arms around me as he lifted me up and began to carry me.

A few moments later we arrived at his shed. He hurriedly turned the door knob and rushed inside walking over to a small cot and placing me on it. Now i the light I could see him clearly. He was a large bearded man most likely in his late forties. He had graying red hair and dull blue eyes. He was dressed in a plain white short-sleved shirt and denim overalls along with dirt crusted work boots. "You jus sit there and don't worry about anything, I'm gonna call an ambulance and everythings gonna be fine." He hurried out of the room not waisting any more time.

I felt the pain agian and this time something else along with it. A hunger. A horrific primal hunger that calwed at my very being and whispered into my ear like the voice of a madman. It demaned a single action from me. "KILL HIM!!!" "Oh god!" I thought. "Whats wrong with me?!" The man returned a short time later and walked over to me. "Good news. I've called the hospital and their sending an ambulance. You're gonna have to wait atleast two hours though. I'm so sorry. This place is realy out of the way." I barely payed attention to what he said. The voice of the hunger was now louder than ever. Telling me over and over again to kill him. This man who had shown me nothing but kindness. This man who had gone out of his way to help me in my time of need. I-I couldn't do it. But the pain. It only grew the longer I delayed this most horrific act and I knew it would not stop until I gave it satisfaction.

"Come closer." I choked out in a voice barely over a whisper. "Excuse me?" He asked clearly not understanding my request. "Come closer." I managed to say a bit louder. He obeyed bringing his face down to my level. "Okey what is it?" He asked. I could see the veins in his neck pumping blood throughout his body and immediately I knew that was my target. Faster than lightning I sunk my teeth into his large neck. He screamed and struggled at first trying to pull me off of him, but after a while he simply stoped and his body went limp. I then felt the warm blood from his neck gush into my mouth. Oh god it tasted horrible. Like liquefied rust. But I knew I needed this so I continued to drink until there was no more left to drink.

I released the man from my grip and he droped to the ground dead. The pain in my body no longer existed having been silenced by the horrorid act I had just commited. I could now feel strengh comming into my body and I was able to stand on my own. I looked down at the man and simply stared in horror. He was dead and I was the one who killed him. I killed him and I drank his blood. What kind of monster was I.

I suddenly remembered something. The man said he called the hospital and that people would be here in atleast two hours. I had to get out of there. I had just dug myself out of a grave, and I didn't escape that prision just to be put in another. I quickly ran out the door and back out into the cemetary. I could see the exit of the it wasn't to far away if I ran I'd be out of there. But I had to know one thing. I began searching amungst the graves until I found the one that I had crawled out of. I bent down to look at the headstone. My name. I had to know my name. My eyes were surprisingly not hindered by the darkness and could read out the name perfectly. My name was Lucy Stolz. This fact now in my head I ran out of the cemetary as the sound of sirens began to hit my ear.
I'm uploading this because I wanted to upload something. I've had my time to grieve and I feel it's time for me to get back into things. I wanted to do something different though so I wrote a story. I've written stories but I've never really shared them with anyone. I figured this would be a nice change of pace. This is nothing special just something I thought up on the fly. Hope you enjoy. And please tell me what you think.

This is a really awesome creepypasta/short horror story.  I like its beginning and then you find out along with Lucy that she's a vampire.
